SEMFlex TLR - approx. 1950 by SmashR SEMFlex TLR - approx. 1950 by SmashR
Here's a few photos I took of this beautiful old camera :D!

I found it in a sort of garage sale here in Paris, the woman said it worked but I didn't trust her at first lol. She sold it to me for 11 euros (approx 8$ I think). Cleaned it with my grandfather who knows a bit more about those cameras than me, it was fun and he had lots of infos on this era of cameras. We then took out the old film that was still in it and insert a new one. And ..... IT WORKS :D !!

So happy :D.

I took a few photos, but I don't have a scanner and the camera doesn't support USB lol so I'll post some photos when I'll get access to a scanner ;). The photos are squares (I forgot the format name :(, I think it's 3cm x 3cm ) ... no it's 6 x 6

I also got the leather jacket that was sold with it at the time, very nice but not in so nice state but it still rocks for the price lol.

Yeah it's a really cool camera, too bad the film is hard to find for it, most the time I find some in small photo shops but they are all expired, so I end up buying expired film, which is not necessarily dramatic.

Great camera! If you shoot it again get a mouse pad and flip it over so the black side is up. It will protect the camera and not show up in the photo

Thanks ^^, you mean I should've used a mouse pad instead of a old sheet ^^?

heehe :) it adds that little something something when its blacked out or whited out. I like flipping the mouse pads over and using blackside.

;) This was shot with a mouse pad under it. I also use coasters :) The other thing I really like is you raise the item off the surface your shooting it. Gives it a cool feel :D

Awesome :) !

I'm thinking of doing more of those garage sales lol, just in case ;).

Mine does nice pics too ;), square photos. Though the dev is quite expensive, 9 photos cost me twice the price of the camera itself lol !

I also got a cell (that little device you use to get info on the light and everything, dunno how it's called in english sorry), but it doesn't seem to work, I'll have it checked though, heard it's a expensive device :)

i love old cameras! you got a good find my friend. like you, i found a 1965 Pentax Honeywell complete with all the attachements Australia for 45 Aus$ (like 35 US$?) and a circa 60s Bronica in England for 65 pounds - both works like a champ.

awesome image!
